  1. go to Start> Settings.
  2. Click to Network and Internet.
  3. Select one in the left panel Wi-Fi or Ethernet, depending on the type of connection you are using.
  4. Click the name of the network or connection.
  5. Scroll down to features.
  6. Find IPv4 address list.
  7. The number you see is your IP address.

How to check your IP address at a command prompt

To know how to find the IP address in Windows 10 at a command prompt, follow these steps:

  1. Click to Start Menu.
  2. Type cmd and click Command Prompt.
  3. Type ipconfig and press Come in.
  4. Find either IPv4 address for automatic configuration (Ethernet) this IPv4 address (Wi-Fi).
