Google Chrome’s tab groups help you organize your tabs

You can now group Google Chrome tabs with a feature called tab groups. The Google Chrome tab lets you organize your tabs by topic, task, or progress. You can even use emoticons as names for your Google Chrome Tab groups.

As detailed in the publication Keyword, Google has finally added a way to organize your tabs. Tab groups You can group tabs together and mark them by name and color. You can also move and organize tabs and groupings however you like.

How to group tabs in Google Chrome

To group tabs, all you have to do is right-click on one tab and click “Add Tab to Group”. You can then move the tab to an existing group or create a new one. If you create a new group, you can give it a name and a color.

How to group tabs is your responsibility. The most obvious is by topic, such as projects or places to shop. However, Google also suggests grouping tabs according to urgency (ASAP, this week and later) or emojis (for heart inspiration, a book to read articles to read, etc.).

Whatever system you choose, you can add, delete, or arrange tabs however you like. Organizing is as easy as dragging and dropping. When you close Chrome, tab groups are saved, which means they’re still there when you reopen Chrome.

Tab groups arrive with the next version of Google Chrome, which is set to begin deployment next week. However, if you want to try tab groups earlier, you’ll need to download the latest version Google Chrome Beta.
